About the Event

Course:  Allatoona Creek Park Course Map

Transportation:  

  • All runners will depart Marist @ 9:30am. Please arrive no later than 9:20am.
  • Those riding the bus home will depart around 2:45-3:00pm and return to Marist between 3:30-45pm.
  • Because the Marist Homecoming Dance is on Saturday night, all runners may leave upon conclusion of their race and cooldown.

Race Schedule:

  • 12:00pm = Varsity Girls (7 runners)
  • 12:30pm = Varsity Boys (7 runners)
  • 1:00pm = JV Girls (unlimited runners)
  • 1:45pm = JV Boys (unlimited runners)
  • 2:20pm = Awards Ceremony

Additional Race Notes:

  • The Region 4-6A meet will take place after the Region 3-7A (Harrison, etc.) and Region 7-1A Div. 2 (Atlanta Classical, etc.) meets.
  • Everyone may leave at the conclusion of their race since it is the night of the Homecoming dance.

Course Videos:  All of the following four videos include largely the start, loop back through before 2nd outer loop, and the finish. Video #4 is from Hoya 2 mile, but it gives similar insight.
